The Opportunity
Evologie is an innovative skin care system designed for helping people have clearer skin to live happier, healthier lives. They were looking for a way to build brand awareness and reach the market they felt would most benefit from their product: teenagers and young adults. Social media seemed like the perfect place to reach this audience and designing a campaign that attracted quality leads was their goal.
The Approach
Evologie decided to work with Social Contests to design a campaign geared specifically toward their target market. They did this by offering a 6-month supply of their product as the grand prize for the giveaway. Additionally, Evologie chose to embed video assets into their contest so that people could learn more about the product and how it works. Social Contests implemented the incentivized sharing feature through facebook, twitter, and email, to spread the word and create a viral effect. Not only did the campaign include a like-gate to significantly increase their facebook fan base but Evologie was able to capture a number of new email addresses for their already existing email list.
